Simple Circuits
In this chapter, we were learning about how electricity travels when it's being used, and how you need a circuit to harvest it. During this lesson we studied Simple Circuits; how they work and what is in one. A simple circuit contains an electric current, a conventional current, a battery, and an electric circuit. An electric current is a flow of charged particles. A conventional current is a flow of positive charge. A battery is a second source of electric energy. Finally, an electric circuit is any closed loop or conducting path allowing electric charges to flow. All of these aspects are needed in a simple circuit.
The part of this chapter that I am most proud of myself in was all the various definitions that I was able to learn, and understand, while studying topic. If I could change or revise something, it would be the amount of time that we spent studying this topic because I understand the basics very well, but when I try to go in depth or think about the deeper concepts, I don't really know about those concepts. I believe the Habit of the Heart and Mind that I used the most during this project was Evidence because most of what we did in this short chapter was read and take notes.
