Commentary for IR Comic Book Strip
For this project, we had to read a book independently outside of class, and then make a comic strip and describe that comic strip in writing. For my book, chose "The Mark of Athena" by Rick Riordan. In our commentary, we had to describe and summarize the scene depicted in our comic book strip. Then we had to explain why we chose that scene for our comic strip, and provide examples. Finally, we had to explain why we depicted the scene the way we did in our comic strip.
In this commentary, the part that I am most proud of is my explanation of why I depicted the scene the way I did because I think that is the part of the assignment that required the most thinking. If I could change something, I think it would be the length of my description of the scene. I think it would be better if the summary was more condensed and to the point. I believe the the Habit of the Heart and Mind that I used the most during this project was Evidence. I believe I used Evidence because every part of the writing assignment asked for an explanation or the reasoning behind that section.
